With over 16 years of professional experience, Frances began her career as an auditor in Singapore before joining Deloitte Brunei, where she managed audits, taxation, consultancy, and corporate secretarial services. She later became a financial controller in Brunei’s private sector construction industry.
In 2004, Frances joined a Brunei Investment Agency subsidiary, advancing her expertise in Investment Banking and Portfolio Management. She transitioned to the Ministry of Finance in 2009, establishing and managing the Strategic Development Capital Fund (SDCF), where she oversaw investments in FDIs and JVs across sectors like Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Shipping, and Private Equity.
Frances later joined Pitcher Partners Australia in 2017, working on M&A transactions in the mid-market sector.
She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Monash University, is a CPA (1999), CFA charterholder (2008), and Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant (2015).
